A Month of Thanksgiving: Day 4

Today, I am thankful for my fur baby, Dixie. 

I remember the day she was given to me. Cody was SO not happy that I took her, but I couldn't say no!  She was the cutest thing I had ever seen with her long floppy ears and droopy eyes. 

A month or so after having her, we had a little scare- she was diagnosed with parvo. I am very thankful she was one of the lucky few who pulled through- thanks to early diagnosis and to the care of some awesome vets! She has definitely made my life a little happier. 

I know a little boy that loves her just as much as I do, and she loves him, too! Im thankful Dixie has taken to Griffin so well. She thinks he is HER baby! 

Dixie, the Ross family wouldn't be the same without you. I'm thankful for all the licks, cuddles, walks, rides, and adventures we've shared. They say a dog is man's best friend, and that you are, my sweet girl!
